We’ll be honest with you: Velora is a small, independent business, and we’re not going to claim we have a perfect sustainability strategy in place. We don’t. But we do think carefully about our choices, and we’re committed to doing better as we grow.
What We’re Doing Now
Mindful Curation
We keep our collection intentionally small. We’d rather offer fewer, better pieces than flood the market with items that will be worn once and forgotten. Less waste starts with less excess.
Packaging
We use simple, minimal packaging. No unnecessary layers, no wasteful filler materials. Your order arrives looking beautiful — but without the unnecessary bulk.
No Overproduction
Because Velora stocks limited quantities, we’re not contributing to overproduction or mass wastage. When something sells out, we reassess before restocking — only bringing back what people genuinely want.
What We’re Working Toward
As the business grows, we want to explore more sustainable packaging options, support local artisans and manufacturers where possible, and be more transparent about where our pieces come from.
We’re a small operation making honest steps in the right direction. That’s the truth — and we’d rather tell you that than make empty promises.
